Netherlands: Xceed Buggy Cup big success

This XceedBuggy-Cup was held in the North of Holland, Friesland.
Due to the bad weather the club managed to change to an indoor location instead. Great job.
The Xceed tyres and Xceed fuel are getting more and more popular.
Xceed-TRS Asia Open Championship 2010, Shanghai, China

XceedRc is organising, in cooperation with TRS racetrack in Shanghai, the 1st Xceed-TRS Asia Open Championship.
The race is for 1/10 and 1/8 scale gaspowered cars, all brands allowed.
The race date is 20 and 21 november 2010, with open practise on 18 and 19th of november, for those with more time to spend.
Michael Salven will attend this event, and the staff of XceedRC will be at the track for support.

Tech-tip: wing of body 1/10 Chevy Kruze

To get the best performance from this body-shell, the mounting of the rear wing is very important.
2 situations:
1.
if you have already cut out the rear wing on the lines as suggested, than the wing is lower than allowed in the rules. You can simply add between 3mm and 5mm spacer below the wing, to get it to the right height. You will notice the chnage is performance right away.
2.
if the rear wing has not been cut out yet, then cut the rear wing 3mm above the indicated cutting-line. This will create the right wing height inside the rules and cretes the best downforce and performance....

This is the Race report from Greek National ELME 1/8 On Road Cup which takes place at Montelodromio Track in Patra City Greece on 13/06/2010.
It was a very hot day with air temp at 37 C.
At qualifying rounds (all 4) started early in the morning Serpent driver Sotiropoulos John with his 966/MAX finished at first place takes the TQ and the best Lap also.
He also make track record with a lap at 11,763 Sec with the old record at 11.990 Sec.

Xceed is constantly developing new body-shells, with state of the art development and design software.
The final development is always made after testing on the tracks, under various conditions, to fine-tune the designs. Xceed cooperates with both Japanese, German, Italian and Spanish designers, that are all racers themselves too.

It is a pleasure to race the XceedRc products in the 1/10 scale and 1/8 scale racing classes.
I have been racing RC for many years, and still have as much enthusiasm as I had in the beginning.
I am very impressed with the performance of the Xceed products, and I am excited at the prospect of being a part of the XceedRC Team, and associated with Walter Ly at Walter RC Hobby City.

Dutch EFRA GP 1/8: van Gastel Tq-s and wins with Xceed ITA tyres

Great results with Xceed ITA tyres at the Dutch EFRA GP.
Both van Gastel and Salven with Xceed ITA tyres qualified 1st and 2nd.
In the Final van Gastel took the win, with one very fast tyre-stop half way in the 45 minutes.

USA: Xceed driver Tosolini wins 1/8 Nats

Xceed introduces at 1st for NT1 and 733 1/10 scale gascars , composite diff-gear sets. For other makes of car to follow later.The precision moulded composite gears, combined with light alu shafts, create a lighter and supersmooth working gear-differential.
For 733 a small mod is needed to the diff-case to fit the 10mm pin and give enough support. See the small manual in the download section of the 108249 set.
